Happy 1st Birthday
I can’t believe it’s been one year since I decided to blog my baking attempts. Without sounding over the top, baking has changed my life. Yes that sounds OTT. Growing up, I never had a hobby or something that would help me relax, even something I could do on my own and be happy about it. Since trying those first bakes back in lockdown, I have really discovered a joy and escapism I’ve never had before and I really needed it. Not every bake has been successful and there has been plenty of lessons learnt, trust me but I may have actually found a little talent which I absolutely love sharing and seeing people enjoy something I have put my time and care into. I have every intention to carry on baking away, trying out new recipes and learning new techniques whilst trying not to eat it all myself, sharing is caring right?
