Merry Christmas you filthy animal!

I hope everyone has been able to have a magical Christmas. I know things haven’t been the same this year and it’s been difficult all round but I hope people have been able to spend some time with someone they love and eat everything in sight!!

I got some lovely baking gifts for Christmas including a beautiful slice with the blog name on which I love!!

Luckily the recovery from my surgery has been much quicker than I had thought so I was able to get in the kitchen on Christmas Eve to whip up a festive pavlova- I know many of you will feel that a pav is anything but festive but this is something my mum would always make and made me feel a little more Christmassy and at home. It was so yummy but way too big for the two of us so I now have the challenge of trying to eat it all before it goes all soggy and horrible- wish me luck!

In 2021 I want to continue blogging about my baking experiences and try even more recipes that I have yet to bake. My mum gave me a personalised recipe book which I really hope to start filling up with some staple recipes and maybe even start adding my own twists.

What would you like to see me attempted in 2021? I love a challenge and would love to be able to hear what you guys would like to see and hopefully eat once COVID buggers off! Please comment below ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Thank you for following my journey in 2020 following lockdown. Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2021 with even more sweet treats and goodies ๐ŸคŽ
