Birthday cookies anyone?!

 I am obsessed with Jane’s patisserie NYC cookies. I’ve made them a few time’s and have now had them requested for my sister birthday! 

I came home from work on Saturday took my mortgage broker hat off and put on my baking apron, no rest for the wicked ey! I decided I wanted to do the NYC cookies I had done before but also the triple chocolate cookies because, can you have enough chocolate at a birthday party? I have been using baking chocolate in most of my recipes as I’m lazy and that was in the cupboard but I decided to step it up a gear and used dairy milk and Milky Way— best decision ever!! I also halved the size of the cookies but amazingly (with the cooking time change) they were still deliciously rich and gooey!! 

I had lots of positive comments along with a score of 1 million out of 10 from my nephew, kids always tell the truth right? 

I loved boxing this up for my sister in a little chocolate goodie box with a couple of homemade “practice bakes perfect” stickers as a finishing touch 🤎
