Cookie Heaven

After my failed attempt at cookies during lockdown, I was determined to try again and achieve the gooey centre that dreams are made of. My auntie gave me a recipe for NYC chocolate chip cookies from another blog “Jane’s patisserie” which looked incredible and relatively easy to bake (so she says).

I was really excited to get to use my new mixer donated to me from my grandma (got to love her) which saved my non existent arm muscles and the bake went pretty well.

I couldn’t believe how much chocolate was needed, but by no means was I complaining as the burst of soft melted chocolate was to die for.

After weighing out each potion of cookie dough I spent the remainder of the time staring at the cookies through the oven door and following the recipe to the second.

The only thing I might change with this recipe is the size of the cookies as it’s so rich it’s hard to finish in one go and is definitely for people with a sweet tooth but overall it was gooey, chocolaty success 🤎
